Restoring a Green Bay Landmark: The Hotel Northland Reimagined

Dedicated to the legacy of what once was Green Bay’s finest hotel and one of the grandest in the state, the Hotel Northland was known as “Green Bay’s $1,000,000 hotel” when it opened in March 1924. On December 4, 2018, the 150,000 SF, eight-story, 160 room hotel reopened its doors for business after a years-long delay in renovation.

Today, The Hotel Northland is a national historic registered, tax credit project, completely remodeled into a modern version of the same full-service 5-Star Hotel that it was 95 years ago. As only Marriot Autograph Hotel in the State of Wisconsin, the Hotel Northland boasts, two full-service restaurants, grand ballroom, health club, conference/meeting space, club style bar with billiards and bowling, and street front retail space.
