Built on History. Designed for What’s Next.

When you choose Ganther, you are not just hiring an architecture and construction firm. You are partnering with a company built on more than a century of craftsmanship, problem-solving, and trust.

Our story began in 1881, when Ben B. Ganther arrived in Oshkosh, Wisconsin after training as a mason in Bavaria and Switzerland. By 1900, the Ben B. Ganther Construction Company was formed, and the Ganther name quickly became known for precision, detail, and quality throughout Wisconsin.

That commitment continued through multiple generations. Alfred R. Ganther, Sr. helped grow the company’s technical expertise, while Alfred R. Ganther, Jr. “Fritz” brought architectural vision to projects as significant as the Smithsonian Museum of History and Technology in Washington, D.C.

Today, under the leadership of Ben Ganther, the company has evolved into a modern architecture and construction management firm built for today’s challenges. We combine historic craftsmanship with a lean, collaborative process designed to bring clarity, efficiency, and confidence to every project.

Your project deserves more than drawings and construction schedules. It deserves a partner who understands planning, funding, design, construction, performance, and long-term value. That is why clients across Wisconsin, the Midwest, and beyond continue to work with Ganther.

Because when your project matters, experience matters.
