In 1871, the Radford Company began operations as a sawmill and wood product distribution plant on three acres in downtown Oshkosh. The company distributed millwork, windows, doors and other products for the construction industry throughout the Midwest and eastern half of the United States. In 1906, Radford became one of the first Anderson Window distributors in the United States. Dyson, Dyson, and Dunn acquired the company from the Radford family in 1986. Ganther constructed the new, modern 115,000 square foot distribution center and office facility for the company at 1871 Stillman Drive. Radford's former downtown site was recently redeveloped into student housing.
