Martin Luther Evangelical School and Church |
Oshkosh, WI

Ganther built this original church in 1954. When the time came to add on, we were paired with local businessman and architect, James Larson, to complete the K-8 school addition as well as make several code and convenience alterations to the church. The challenges presented were to design and build the additional space needed for their educational programs, bring the building up to today’s current accessibility codes and convenience needs, stay within budget and make the new addition look and function as if it were part of the original project. An elevator was added to service the church and the basement level. The school addition is approximately 37,460 square feet and constructed of masonry and precast concrete.
