Discher Architectural Millwork (formerly Discher Bros. Contractors) began their business in 1945 upon Melvin and Gilbert Discher's return from service in World War II.  They moved into their first permanent facility in 1960 and began supplying millwork and casework nationwide through millwork jobbers.  By the 1980s, they had transitioned completely out of general contracting to architectural millwork.  Ganther has performed several expansions since the 1990s including office, manufacturing and warehouse space.  Today, Discher specializes in custom cabinetry and countertops, trim, custom millwork, wall paneling, solid surface FSC wood fiber / wood fiber products and AWI premium grade millwork.
