This synagogue was established in the 1870’s/1880’s when a few Jewish merchants resided in the Oshkosh community. The current building was erected in 1948 which was originally Orthodox, but is now a member of the Union for Reform, that serves a diverse community. This facility is utilized for religious services, religious schooling, special events, and houses a gift shop with a variety of Judaica treasures. In 2009, Ganther had the pleasure to remodel the kitchen, install a vertical lift system, and construct two new restrooms.
